Malvern

Founded in the 17th Century by Welsh Immigrants, Malvern is bordered by the Paoli Pike and sits 25 miles west of Philadelphia. The borough is home to thriving industrial parks, residential neighborhoods with a suburban setting and a quaint downtown district.

Home to the Historic Sugartown and Paoli Battlefield, Malvern is enriched with historical landmarks. The original King Street is the main road that travels through downtown. King Street is filled with boutique shops and specialty stores owned by locals. Malvern's fine dining scene includes a popular local favorite bed and breakfast spot, General Warren.

Public school facilities operate under the Great Valley School District and Malvern is also home to three private schools within relatively close distance to downtown. Getting around Malvern is easy by bike or walking. Further distances can be covered by the SEPTA Regional Trail, OurBus, and the train.
